On Wednesday I went to Mangere to get my brother he was 4 years old . We went to the Mangere pools I went on the slide. Then we went to eat at my mum’s house. My little brother played games on my ps2. We played god of war and we ate some cake. It was cool. After that we went outside to play rugby.

On Friday we did athletics. We did running for 75m and 100m. We did shotput and we saw the yr 5 girls throw the discus. We did high jump and some Javelin throws with Mr. Barks. My Leader was Miss Lavakula.

We need to swim because it is good when you go for a swim in the sea or at the swimming pools. Swimming is very important for you so you won't drown. When I was 7 yrs old I went swim at the swimming pool and my dad showed me how to swim. It was very hard for me to swim. I needed to practise so hard.

Matariki

Last night I saw the Matariki lights. They  were cool . We went to go and look  at them. I saw a maze.  Two  soldiers were  looking at me. My brother was singing and  I was so happy. Afterwards  we went to buy food.

At my school we  had Samoan language week.We saw kids sing a song.Next was  the Pt England Samoan group and the Tamaki College performed for us. It was so cool. Reverend Setefano prayed for Pt England and Samoans too.

In c.r.e. today we made a scroll.One thing I enjoyed was making a scroll about the verse from the bible.

One day me and Billy went to make a raft at my home. We found some rope and sticks. Billy put the raft in the water.We looked at the raft and it floated.We got on and we saw an eel eating. It was a boy and he swam away.The raft started to sink and we swam to the bank. We were happy.

Fiafia 2014

My name is Tavake. Last night we had a Fia Fia . I came back at 4.30pm. I had my dinner at school with my mum and dad .I was in the Tongan boys group. At 6.00pm we had to go to the changing rooms to get ready to perform and at 6.45pm we have to sit down ready to watch the other groups perform.I like being in the Tongan group but I liked the Samoan group best because of the asante dance. was a girl. Their names were Miguel and Katy.At the beach they looked in the water and they saw fish. There were One sunny day two kids went to the beach.One was a boy and one golden sand, palm trees and coconut trees. A dog was running around the beach and barking at the sea lion.

Last week we made a ladybug. We coloured in the ladybug red and the spots black. Then we cut out the ladybug. Next we glued the ladybug on the coloured paper.

In the morning we went outside to take pictures the crane and it was enormous. It was like a sky tower. It was cool.The crane lifted the classrooms onto the site where they are going to be.

In the morning it was raining. I woke up and I ate my breakfast and then I got dressed.After that  I went to brush my teeth. Then my mum prayed before we went to school in the car.

Mangere Pools

I went to Mangere pools with my family. We went in the car. At Mangere pools we had food in the car. I went on the slide at the pool. In the pool it was cold. Me and my cousins were fighting in the Mangere pools.
